Fine Old French Very Long Pastoral SceneTapestry c1870

This is a very good old French tapestry in exceptionally good condition
for its age and is very long. The tapestry depicts a courting couple
in a woodland scene with goatherd tending two goats.
The colours are still vibrant having been folded for quite some time - we found it in
an old haberdashery shop which was closing down in the Loire Valley region of France.
There is a fold mark at the top but no wear, holes or splits - c1870.

Measurements 344cms long x 124cms wide
